KUALA LUMPUR, March 3 (Bernama) -- Malaysian squash queen, Datuk Nicol David continued her blistering performance by moving into the last four of the 2015 Windy City Open held in Chicago, United States, on Monday.
Nicol, the world number one, vying for her first Windy City Open title edged England's Alison Water in straight sets 12-10, 12-10, 11-6 in 39 minutes to avenge her defeat to the English player.
Nicol lost to Alison in the quarterfinals of the Tournament of Champions held in New York on Jan 21.
She will be meeting Egypt's Nour El Tayeb who defeated her compatriot Nour El Sherbini in the semi-finals.
Another Malaysian entry in the quarter-finals, Low Wee Wern however, suffered a 9-11, 11-6, 11-3, 11-9 defeat to world number two, Raneem El Welily of Egypt.
Raneem's next task would be France's Camille Serme who won her match against England's Emma Beddoes in straight sets of 11-4, 11-2, 11-5 to book her berth in the last four.
