BAM: 3-month extension not a raw deal - NST

KUALA LUMPUR: The three-month extension for national badminton coaches is not a raw deal.
That is the stand of the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) which stated the move came about following an evaluation process involving the National Sports Council (NSC) Sports Science Unit and the coaches.

BAM claimed that the evaluation was transparent as it included tracking the coaches' achievements over the last three years with data to avoid opinionated views.

On Friday, national singles coach Rashid Sidek spoke up as he felt that coaches were still left in the dark on their job status and responsibility, and the three-month extension proved nothing.
