KUALA LUMPUR: The Youth and Sports Ministry will organise a donation drive on Thursday to help the flood victims in the country.
The ministry has asked the public to donate items such as diapers, infant milk, milk powder, mattresses, toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap), sanitary pad, rice, cooking oil, mineral water, detergent, dried food items (sardines, biscuits etc), blankets, towels, Milo, tea, coffee, clothing as well as torch-lights with batteries and fully-charged power banks.
The public can drop the items at Gym 2 of the National Sports Council (NSC) premises in Bukit Jalil from 9am-2pm on Thursday.
National athletes, including shuttler Lee Chong Wei and squash star Low Wee Wern, will be joining hands with the ministry officials to receive the donated goods.
