KUALA TERENGGANU, May 28 (Bernama) -- Kelantan suffered an early scare before marching into the FA Cup final on a 6-5 aggregate score despite losing 2-4 to Terengganu in the second leg semifinal at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium, here, Tuesday.
Kelantan who had won the first leg semifinal 4-1 were shocked by the home team who took a firm grip of the match to level the tie after winning 4-1 in regulation time.
With the score tied at 5-5, the match was forced into 30 minutes of extra-time to decide the winner and Kelantan took the opportunity to strike the winner a minute before the final whistle to march on to the final for the second consecutive season.
Kelantan will meet either Pahang or Johor Johor Darul Takzim (Johor DT) who play against each other in their second leg semifinal at the Darul Makmur Stadium in Kuantan, Tuesday night.
Johor DT beat Pahang 1-0 in the first leg semifinal played at the Tan Sri Hassan Yunos Stadium in Larkin, on Saturday.
